Things to Know

FAMILY DISCOUNT
Indiana Wesleyan University is offering our conference a family discount for those attending the conference along with your children. Families receive a reduced rate for lodging in a 4 bed Dorm Suite, 4 Bedroom (8 beds) Dorm Suite, 2 Bedroom (4 beds) Lodge Suite, or 3 bedroom (6 bed) Lodge Suite. The discount applies to a family who resides at the same permanent address. If non-family members will be staying in the same suite as the family, the non-family members will be charged the normal per bed rates. Please note that high schoolers staying in the high school dorms will be charged the normal per-bed rate.

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL HOUSING
Those entering 9-12 (9th graders must be at least 14 years of age) will be staying in a separate dorm with counselors. Those entering grades 6th-8th will be under the supervision of counselors during the day but housed with parents or a guardian at night. Grades are as of fall 2012.

Anyone high school age or younger must be accompanied by a parent or an adult (over the age of 21) who will serve as a guardian and chaperone for the young person. If there are any disciplinary problems with the young person, the parent/guardian will be expected to help in solving them and, if necessary, may be required to take the young person home early.

AIR CONDITIONING is available in all dorms. All meeting rooms and dormitories, lodges, and campus buildings are air conditioned.

ROOM KEYS will be issued to each conferee High School age and over. A lost key will result in a $45 charge (college liability makes this a necessity).

DISABILITIES – FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Board to Address Disability Concerns would like to provide help for any person with disabilities. DISABILITIES – SPECIAL NEEDS
If you have a need such as first-floor room or a wheelchair accessible room, please indicate this need when you register, using the comment box online or on a separate sheet of paper included with your registration form. If you need to discuss rooming needs you may also email the registrars (registrar@rpinternationalconference.org).
